The
Riverside Centre
We are blessed to have a building in York. We call it the Riverside Centre and it is a hub for the community around and a centre to resource the Church.
Below are details of the community activities going on in the Riverside Centre:

The Hub is a cafe run by the Church, open to the community. The Hub Cafe is open every Tuesday and Wednesday (9.30am to 4.00pm.)
We serve great value lunches, freshly baked cakes and great coffee too.

Little Stars is a toddler group run by the Church group for children ages 0-4 and their parents/carers.
The group runs each Thursday morning, 10-11.30am (during term time only). There are loads of toys and games to play with, we provide snacks for the children and fresh home baked cake for the grown ups. There is also a song time at the end of the session. Little Stars is a great opportunity to make new friendships for both the children and the adults, we'd love to see you there!

The Riverside Centre is a distribution point for the city-wide foodbank. It is working under the Trussell Trust banner
(York Foodbank | Helping Local People in Crisis)
The foodbank distribution runs every Wednesday afternoon from 1-3pm. Food Parcels are given out when a valid voucher or a valid code is presented.

As we want to be a blessing to the community in which we based, our rooms are available for hire to people and organisations in line with our charitable aims and objectives.
​
We charge £20 per hour per room. There are additional charges for refreshments or use of PA/AV or other equipment.
