Along with other churches in York, we are using the Riverside Centre as a distribution point for the city-wide foodbank. It is working under the Trussell Trust banner.
The foodbank distribution runs every Wednesday afternoon from 1-3pm.
Food Parcels are given out when a valid voucher is presented.
Come along for tea, coffee, cake and friendship whilst your little ones enjoy playing in a safe and friendly environment. Area for babies, toys and books for older ones. Snack and song time.
10-11.30am at the Riverside Centre, every Thursday during term time. For parents, babies and young children.
Costs £1, first session free.
Free hot meals to anyone who wishes to drop in, cooked from supermarket surplus food.
Also great place and time to meet with others. It is run in our Centre every Thursday 12.15pm-2.00pm.
We only accept donations if people wish to contribute.
For young people aged between 8 and 13, it is a safe environment in which there is a chance to have fun and create friendships with others. Informal setting, fun activities, games. chill and hang out
